(SISRUK) Stop Immigration Start Repatriation U.K. is a non-profit campaign / movement to lobby parliament to stop immigration and start assisted repatriation. Our mission is to get the U.K. immigrant population reduced to 3%, which we feel is a reasonable figure for this tiny island. According to the 2001 Census organised by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) the immigrant population stood at 14.33%. Due to 13 years of uncontrolled immigration under the Labour government, the immigrant population today could be as high as 23% to 25% according to some analysts, and is rapidly growing. The population of the U.K. is predicted to hit 70 million by 2029 (see news article here) largely due to the constant flow of new immigrants and the high birth rates of the older settled immigrant population as well as the new arrivals. White British people will be a minority in their own country by 2066 if current immigration levels continue says population expert Professor David Coleman, of Oxford University (see news article here). According to MIGRATION WATCH U.K. a migrant now arrives nearly every minute. We must build a new home every six minutes for new migrants. Britain is already one of the most overcrowded countries in Europe. Such an increase in population is simply unsustainable. As our island grows more populated, large parts of our urban areas are now descending into third world squalor, beset with corruption, poverty (last seen in Dickens' time), gangland violence and ethnic divisions. There is an urgent need for an overall reduction in immigrant numbers. This can only be achieved by stopping immigration and starting assisted repatriation. Several countries have been repatriating on a regular basis and it's about time that Britain did the same.  

A cap on non EU immigration does not fully address the problem and will have a very small effect in reducing the total immigrant population. A cap will only affect one in eight immigrants and does not really get to the heart of the problem. Although, we support the Parliamentary cross-party group on 'BALANCED MIGRATION' which suggests that net migration should be reduced to nearly zero, we still need that to be followed by repatriations as the immigrant population (both old and new) currently living in the U.K. will continue to fuel the population growth from within, with their high birth rates. Hence we advocate a complete halt to immigration, followed by assisted repatriation, in order to reduce the immigrant numbers to a reasonable / workable / manageable 3%.

In some circles there are strong arguments that claim that immigration is good for this country. However, our view is that the cons heavily outweigh the pros and the benefits to the average Brit is minuscule. The Government’s own figures show that the average Brit is about 62 pence per head per week better off due to immigration. Immigration (influx of new arrivals, and the high birth rates of the older immigrants as well as the new arrivals) is leading to overcrowding, social / racial tensions, unemployment, putting a heavy strain on our services such as housing, NHS, transport, schools, water etc. Immigration is having a negative impact on our quality of life, and not to mention the billions that immigration is costing us each year. We just do not have the facilities and infrastructure to cope with such a rapid rise in the U.K. population fuelled largely by immigration (both new and old) which is also threatening our way of life, our national identity, our history, heritage, culture, language and religion. Immigration is doing more damage than good to society, with a high increase in racial tensions.
